L’ECOSOC a élu par acclamation, pour un mandat de quatre ans prenant effet le 1er janvier 2003, les experts suivants: Virginia Bonoan-Dandan (Philippines), Jaime Marchan Romero (Equateur), Alvaro Tirado Mejia (Colombie), Maria Virginia Bras Gomez (Portugal), et Eibe Riedel (Allemagne).  L’ECOSOC a ensuite élu, après vote à bulletin secret, Azzouz Kerdoun (Algérie), Clement Atangana (Cameroun), et Yuri Kolosov (Fédération de Russie).
